Your ESPN fantasy league, in one place
Connect a public ESPN league and LeagueBarn keeps this season in sync, or bring a private league in from your browser, this season included, along with every finished season of one that has left ESPN. Either way it gets a home: standings, power rankings, draft grades, trade grades, and a full record book.
Public leagues connect by league ID. Private, or no longer played on ESPN? Import it from your desktop browser. We never ask for your ESPN login.
What you get
- The same live site Sleeper and Yahoo leagues get: standings, LBPI power rankings, draft grades, trade grades, rivalry history, and awards.
- Every finished season your league played on ESPN: standings, scores, and drafts, plus trades and adds/drops from 2018 on.
- A public league’s current season, with scores updated during games.
- Private leagues too: their finished seasons, and this season as of whenever you refresh it from your browser. Leagues no longer played on ESPN come in for their finished seasons.
Public or private: how each works
Public league: a live site. Paste your ESPN league ID or league address and pick seasons. LeagueBarn imports past seasons and keeps this season up to date, with scores during games. It reads the league the way any visitor to ESPN can, so no login is involved.
Private league: from your browser. Sign in, add a LeagueBarn bookmark to your browser, and click it on your league’s page on ESPN. Your own browser reads the league from ESPN and hands LeagueBarn only the league’s data, about 20 seconds a season. Choose past seasons, or This season for the season so far, and click it again after each week’s games to update it: LeagueBarn can’t read a private league on its own. This works for leagues no longer played on ESPN, too.
Want a private league live? Your ESPN league manager can make it public: sign in to ESPN, open the league’s League Settings → Basic Settings, set Make League Viewable to Public to Yes, and save. Then connect it here. If it goes private again later, updates pause and everything already imported stays.
Also on Sleeper or Yahoo? Connect that league first →
What we read, what we never write
LeagueBarn never asks for, receives, or stores your ESPN password or session cookies. A public league is read the way any visitor can see it, and the browser import runs in your own browser and passes along only your league’s data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my league password?
No. You’ll never be asked for your ESPN password, and LeagueBarn never sees your ESPN login at all: a public league connects by its league ID, and the import for a private league runs in your own browser, which is already signed in to ESPN, and hands LeagueBarn only your league’s data.
Does my ESPN league have to be public?
Only to stay up to date on its own. A public league connects by its league ID and LeagueBarn keeps its current season up to date. A private league comes in through the browser import, finished seasons and this season alike, and you run the import again to update this season.
How do I make my ESPN league public?
Your ESPN league manager signs in to ESPN, opens the league’s League Settings → Basic Settings, sets Make League Viewable to Public to Yes, and saves. Public means anyone with the league ID can view the league on ESPN. It doesn’t share anyone’s ESPN login.
What if we make the league private again?
LeagueBarn pauses updates and tells the league’s owner on their dashboard. Everything already imported stays. Make it public again and updates resume on their own.
Where do I find my ESPN league ID?
It’s the number after leagueId= in your league’s ESPN address. You can paste the whole address when you connect, and the import bookmark reads it from your league’s page, so you usually don’t need to look it up.
Can I import seasons from before we moved to ESPN?
Every season your league played on ESPN comes in, back to its first. Typing in seasons from a platform before ESPN, or from before your league was online, is a separate, later feature — see League History.
Does LeagueBarn change anything in my league?
No. LeagueBarn only ever reads your league’s data. It never posts to your league, changes a roster, or touches a setting — there’s nothing in the product that writes back to Sleeper or ESPN at all.
Is LeagueBarn free?
Yes, free while we’re in beta. If we introduce paid plans later, existing leagues get notice first.
Who can see our league page — is it public?
Yes — your league’s page (yourleague.leaguebarn.com) is public to anyone with the link, the same way your league is already visible on its platform. Your personal account info (email, name) is never shown on it.
What happens when the season ends?
A connected public league’s current season keeps syncing until it ends, then locks in as permanent history. Finished seasons imported from your browser are already permanent. A private league’s current season updates each time you refresh it from your browser.
